Baked Macaroni Cheese with Bell Peppers

Baked macaroni cheese with bell peppers is a tasty recipe. The ingredients for this recipe are one package of macaroni, two cups of shredded cheddar cheese, one red bell pepper, one yellow bell pepper, and two cups of milk. You will also need one cup cream, three tbsp butter, two tbsp flour, four tbsp pasta sauce, half cup bread crumbs and salt and pepper to your liking.

Prepare the macaroni as directed on the box. Melt one and half tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan on a medium flame and add the flour. Heat the flour for one to two minutes and then add milk slowly while stirring continuously. Slowly add the cream and stir continuously. Remove from fire and keep aside. Slice the bell peppers. Take a fry pan and melt the remaining butter. Sauté the bell peppers lightly and add cooked macaroni. Cook for a minute by stir frying and slowly add the white sauce. Cook for a minute and add the shredded cheese.

Preheat the oven at 370 degree F. Grease a baking tray with butter. Pour the macaroni and cheese in white sauce with bell peppers in the baking tray. Spread the pasta sauce evenly on top of this mixture. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake for twenty minutes. Serve after cooling for ten minutes.
