In a recent report cheese and milk were reported to have a compound that helps keep peoples’ circulation moving along at a healthy pace. As it turns out, according to scientists milk and cheese each have a fatty acid that can help to stop cholesterol from building up in arteries. Sounds like good news for the macaroni and cheese lovers out there! In the past doctors have warned against eating too much cheese and other dairy products because dairy products are generally high in fat content. So should we run out and gorge ourselves on our favorite dish. Probably not, as the government and doctors agree that eating in moderation and eating a wide variety with a balanced diet is the way to go. In fact, the recommended daily serving of fruits and vegetables is 5 per day for those of us who want to cut the risk of heart disease and cancer.
