Macaroni and Cheese Half Sandwiches Recipe

The kids will love this novel idea, yummy to taste and easy to make. The ingredients required for macaroni and cheese half sandwiches are slices of bread, one packet of macaroni, two cups of shredded cheddar cheese, one cup of Mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper, one finely diced onion, four finely chopped garlic cloves, and four tablespoons of butter.

Prepare the macaroni by cooking and draining as is directed on the package. Set the prepared macaroni aside. Heat two table spoons of butter in a frying pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft. Add macaroni and stir fry for two minutes. Add salt, pepper, all herbs seasoning and the shredded cheddar cheese and stir for two minutes. Remove from heat source and allow it to cool. Preheat the oven to about 370 degrees. Prepare the half sandwiches by applying butter, the prepared macaroni cheese topping, and then top with Mozzarella cheese. Toast the open sandwiches for five minutes until the bread becomes crispy and brown. Serve with tomato sauce optional.

The topping can be prepared using other vegetables such as beans, capsicums, carrots, peas and so on. Non-vegetarians can add chicken or ham as per their liking to the macaroni cheese topping.
